ComicsAlliance recently brought attention to one seemingly clairvoyant artist, Jeffrey Thomas, who saw the awesome potential for Disney Princesses, with a Marvel twist, long before that whole merger businesses.

From our point of view, these re-imagined Disney icons are more than Marvel, they go back to the true spirit of the dark folklore and Grimm’s fairytales that Disney initially cribbed from. Jeffrey’s portfolio of the “Twisted Princess” gone wild is truly macabre (and amazing) and we’ve got our favorites posted for you.
