I wonder what 'baking' the video footage entails? I hope digital restoration technology has advanced enough to improve the quality of the new scenes, but if not it will still be fascinating to see the story as it was originally intended, however variable the resolution. Such a shame the actual film footage seems to be lost. But the news that Elfman might come back to augment his original work is fantastic! The original score is one of his best. Great stuff.
