While Season 3 doesn’t officially start til June 13, True Blood creator Alan Ball has taken a pretty clever, industrious step towards keeping fans interested. Starting May 2 (after the True Blood Season 2 encore on HBO), a brand new “minisode” of True Blood will air. Each episode is reportedly 3-5 minutes. Regarding where they fit into the “story” of True Blood, the minisode teaser notes that they “aren’t from Season 2″ and “won’t be seen” in Season 3. So whatever that means.
No confirmation on who appears in any of the minisodes – six in total – except for Jessica. Last we saw Vampire Jess, she was running away from Hoyt and feasting on a trucker. More deviance to come? Get meta and watch the teaser for the minisodes. Or watch a new clip from Season 3 after the jump.
This latest Season 3 teaser stars… Vampire Bill. Actually, it’s reminiscent of some of Bill’s more badass moments on the show. Those fleeting times where he does cool things. Like smashing Lorena over the head with a TV, or tearing people up in the 1920s, or offending Sookie by telling her he wants to suck from her thigh. Check it out.
