The Murderdolls sometimes seem like such a sweet distant memory. However, where there’s a horror movie there’s a song, and Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison has revealed to U.K. Kerrang, that he and Wednesday 13 will be re-uniting this year to record a new Murderdolls album, Women and Children Last – the first Murderdolls album in eight years.
Reunions have been murmured about before, and in the interview, Jordison talked about why they decided now would be the ideal time to record again: “It’s been an ongoing conversation between Wednesday and I from 2006 until now. We were bored with everything out there, and thought we had something to piss people off and shake things up. Everything is such a product or a fucking formula these days… Fuck formula! Fuck the norm!”
Accordingly, Jordison stated the album would be made predominantly by just himself and Wednesday, with the help of “a couple very special guests.”
