We truly appreciate all the enthusiasm we’ve received regarding this last issue. For those checking out the mag for the first time, here’s a quick breakdown of the way things work around these here parts.
Ways to read SCARS Magazine:
- 1) By now, you’ve probably noticed that we’re free online.
- 2) Purchasing single print issues off of Magcloud. The quality is tremendous, and better than what you’ll find from most magazines in a bookstore or newsstand.
Frequently Asked Questions:
- “Are you in bookstores?” No. SCARS ran in Borders, Barnes & Noble, and other stores throughout all 50 states in 2007, but distribution practices nearly killed us. You may occasionally find us in the rare indy store here and there, but our focus for right now is internet distribution.
- “Can I subscribe?” Yes and no. Print subscriptions are on hiatus, with plans for an eventual reboot. Right now, you can e-mail me at scars.fallon@gmail.com to be put on our subscriber’s waiting list, subject line: Subscription. By going on the list, you will receive an e-mail every time a new issue is posted, with links to the free digital version and a link to purchase the print mag.
- “Can I buy the magazine wholesale?” Yes, with a minimum of 20 copies. E-mail scars.ray@gmail.com with your specific questions, subject line: Scars Wholesale.
