Tonight in Boston, at the Copley Library, four literary debaters are throwing down about which city can call Edgar Allen Poe their own: Philadelphia, Baltimore… or Boston. While the case for Philadelphia and Baltimore has been long claimed, Boston is a relative newcomer to the Poe legacy – despite the fact of Boston as Poe’s birth city. “The Great Poe Debate” goes down at 7PM, in honor of the new Poe exhibit (”The Raven in the Frog Pond”) at the Boston Public Library. Get the details on The Great Poe Debate and find out more about the exhibit, which runs through March, 2010.
