Starting November 15, AMC is taking their stab at a relaunch of the cult beloved series The Prisoner. They’ve condensed the series down to six, one hour long episodes, which will reportedly air over the span of three days. By condensing the series it looks like we’ve got only one guy as our Number 2 (Ian McKellen) to square it off with our hero, Number 6 (Jim Caviezel). While this extended trailer (over 9 minutes!) seems to show a more conventional style than that which made the initial series so memorable, portions of the original weirdness can be found. Like the giant white ball thing. So, can it work?
