Local Boston filmmakers, Door Eleven Productions, have competed their second feature, The Darkness Within, and announced a release date. Set almost entirely in one location and budgeted at $3,000, the psychological thriller follows the lives of Chad Morgan and Ashley Sera (Jimmy Scanlon and Michelle Romano) – a young, engaged couple who’ve just moved into their new apartment. They quickly realize there’s something terribly wrong with their peculiar next-door neighbor, Mr. Reed. After a bizarre encounter it becomes very clear that if they don’t unlock the mystery behind this sinister voyeur soon, they stand to lose everything…including their minds.
